Because you still need social skills to get you places. Because we haven’t evolved to not need human interaction. Because being present will reduce anxiety. Because without people, you’ll just be alone in your living room with your device.
Or you can stare it right in the face. In any case, choose the path of greatest resistance, because you’ll learn more that way.
